What is it?
Apple’s annual worldwide developer conference. Where it showcases the latest updates to the software running on its Macs, iPhones, iPads, Apple Watches, Apple TVs and other devices. Apple may also unveil new hardware but it generally tends to be more about software.
What are my predictions?
- Rumours point to major updates on Siri
- iOS 11- will launch alongside at least two new Iphones on the 10th anniversary of the Iphone
- Apple is also working on a new social networking app- which focuses on giving users a way to share video
- The MacBook range might get a software update- they updated the hardware in 2016 which suggests they are looking at internal software updates this year
- MacOS 10.13- this will be the second iteration of the macOS’s operating systems
- An update to Apple’s wearable section i.e. new versions of the watchOS
- There is the potential for a so-called ‘Siri Speaker’- a possible threat to the Amazon Echo
- 10.5-inch iPad Pro
- Planning to bring its iMessage service to Android
